  1. Nicely done this week. I like how you used two different pictures to show both the Dodge and Burn too. It's amazes me how you can change the look of the picture by just changing the color. Keep up the great work.

  2. I like the way the guard rail in your second set of images was highlighted with the dodge tool. It really gives a sense of the light source. It's interesting how much more color and depth of shadows can be found with the burn tool while the dodge tool, conversely, tends to lose more color or wash things out unless the original image was underexposed.

  3. It's nice to see another set of photos where you are pushing the tool beyond what it's average use is. I love to see this happen because it shows me that you are experimenting and exploring, finding out what the capabilities are of the program. Excellent work!

    Filters photos?

  4. I'm liking what you've done here, but I have to wonder again, why not use the dodge and burn together on a single photo? Maybe I misunderstood the assignment. I hope not, because I am well away from my computer, and I have no way of redoing anything till Tuesday late. Great work here though, I think on the first road photo that you burned you might have stepped back the intensity a bit, it's a bit on the dark side.

  5. I like how you took the photos and used both dodge and burn individually on each of them and then posted the original. You showed what the effects really do to the photos. Great job on showing how these programs work with great landscape photos.
