I loved how you should just the one picture and just changed the color each time. To me it really amazes me how much changing the color really makes you look at the picture. Great work this week.
Each color change makes a huge difference in the feel of the image. You started with a hazy summer picture and gave us a bright & cheery shot with the auto tone, a cooler setting sun with the blue color work, to a more old fashioned sepia style image with your hue saturation changes. I think my favorite change is the very first black and white version. By making this black and white and increasing the contrast you've turned a summer picture into a winter one. It really looks like there is snow on the trees and a dusting of snow and frost on the ground.
Excellent work on these! And, thank you for cropping out the girl and her shirt. You did an excellent job with these, showing what your journey has been playing with these colors, or lack thereof. I am psyched to see you tried the Mosaic as well.
I think there may be a future for Photoshop with you.…
Out of all of these, I like the auto tone the best. It really punched up the greens, while leaving the blue sky very natural looking. On the black and white version, I think the whites are way too harsh, but that's simply a matter of taste. It has a very blown out feel, with not a lot in the mid ranges.
Love that you provided so many variations with the same photo. I actually liked the original but the blue and then the black and white are a close second.
