I have to give your props I couldn't take pictures of my cat she just doesn't sit still enough. I like that you got different views of the cats. The one picture that stood out for me if you are looking at the list of pictures is the third one up, of just the cats eyes. For me the eyes draw you in. Great work this week.
Londell, Wow, your cat is much more patient than my horse! These photos are really interesting, I enjoyed the few that made me see a cat differently. Either from a different view or you were capturing the image in a different type of context. Made me think of a cat differently. I was hoping to see more images of the cat that are not just the face head on, since I really enjoyed the few 'different' ones that you did take. Overall, L-O-V-E-D it along with your collage. I look forward to see if you use your cat as a muse again.
How did you get your cats to sit still? I couldn't get mine to sit still for a close up. I liked the photo that shows the cats eyes closed (number 7 from the top) and the one that was colored differently (19 from the bottom). I was curious how you accomplished that? I have a gray cat like yours and I liked the photo of him/her on the steps. Made me ask what the cat was thinking!
I loved all the cats and how you got to take so many pictures with them being so willing surprised me. I love the first picture with the gray cat with tongue sticking out. The pink stood out against all the gray. The cat picture that seemed to be yellow with gold eyes was great. This was a good close up and really captured the eyes.
I can appreciate how difficult it is to use animals as your subject - they were very patient for you - mine come to investigate the camera.
I'm glad you posted the individual pictures as it was difficult to see detail in the collage. My favorit individual photo - the first one with the gray cat w/pink tongue. Then the photos after the collage...#4 with the side profile of the cat and then the 7th down where it is face on and his eyes are closed. With all the beautiful colors and details of this cat, he/she is a collage all on its own! Karen
That must have been a challenge, keeping your cat still. What a good model though! The pictures you used the flash, defiantly came out very well. I really like how you took the last picture from above, you caught a moment all cats can relate too.
